International detective Luke Harding had just come home from his vacation in Hawaii, 10 grand richer. He was at his office playing Sudoku while waiting for a phone call. He was just about halfway done when he got one. Quickly grabbing for the phone, he picked it up and answered.
The person talking at the other end sounded very important but worried. Two 170 carat diamonds had been stolen from one of the most secure vaults in the world. Luke was ready to solve the case. He hopped in the car and drove off.
Luke quickly entered the building and headed straight towards the vault. Closing the whole area down, he started looking for fingerprints. Slowly working his way at the center of the vault, he had only found one fingerprint but it was very faint which meant it was probably very old. Reaching the conclusion that the thief was pretty good at the work he or she did. Luke headed towards the closest hotel.
The person at the front desk was just closing her purse as Luke entered. She gave him an awkward smile and shook his hand, while Luke noticed she had very dry ones. Giving a strange smile back, Luke paused only to grab some coffee before arresting her.
Looking startled, the woman headed towards the door. However, Luke quickly blocked her way and got the diamonds from her purse, quickly turning them into the authorities. When Luke noticed that her hands were dry, he made the prediction that her dry hands were why the fingerprint looked so old. He was correct and got paid $15,000 for his services. That was another case solved by master forensic investigator, Luke Harding.
